Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply when you visit or place an order through the Printably website. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

“Printably”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the Printably website. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the website or placing an order.

1. Orders and acceptance

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to buy the selected products. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We may decline or cancel an order if, for example, a product is unavailable, payment is not authorised, information needed to fulfil the order is missing, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

Please check your order details, delivery address, product selection, image and crop before submitting your order. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. We will try to help, but may be unable to change an order once production has started.

2. Products, images and custom prints

Printably sells printed products, including custom prints made using images supplied by customers. Product descriptions, dimensions and prices are shown on the website or at checkout.

Screen settings and differences in image quality, lighting, cropping and production can affect how a finished print looks compared with an on-screen image. We aim to reproduce submitted images faithfully, but cannot guarantee an exact match to how an image appears on a particular screen.

You are responsible for choosing an image with sufficient quality and checking the crop and order details. If an image is blurred, low resolution, incorrectly oriented or otherwise unsuitable, the result may not meet your expectations. Where practical, we may contact you before production if we identify a significant issue.

3. Customer-supplied images and content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, each image or other content you submit. You authorise Printably to use, reproduce and process that content only as reasonably needed to prepare, produce, quality-check and deliver your order, provide customer support, and meet legal obligations.

You retain ownership of your content. This permission does not allow Printably to use your image in advertising, public galleries or promotional material. We will only do so with your separate permission.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or you are not authorised to print. We may refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe the submitted content creates legal, safety or reputational risks. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in South African rand unless stated otherwise. The product price, delivery charge and total payable will be shown before you complete checkout. Any applicable taxes or charges will be displayed as required.

Payment must be authorised using a payment method offered at checkout. We may delay production until payment is confirmed. Printably does not store full payment-card details; payment processing is handled by the relevant payment provider under its own terms and privacy practices.

We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before accepting an order. If this affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a refund.

5. Production, delivery and collection

Estimated production or delivery times are provided as estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date. Delivery options, charges and any collection arrangements will be shown at checkout or agreed with you.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details. You are responsible for reasonable costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address or a missed delivery, to the extent permitted by law. We will work with the courier to investigate delayed, lost or damaged deliveries.

If delivery is delayed or an order does not arrive, contact us at info@printably.co.za. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.

6. Cancellations, returns and faulty products

Custom products may be made to your specifications. Cancellation or change requests should be sent to info@printably.co.za as soon as possible. We will consider them in light of the order’s production status and applicable law.

Our Refunds Policy explains how to report a problem and how we handle returns and refunds. It does not remove any rights you have under South African law. If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not meet applicable legal requirements, contact us with your order details and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will assess the matter and provide any remedy required by law.

A change of mind, preference or expectation about an accurately produced custom item may be treated differently from a faulty or incorrect product, subject to your statutory rights.

7. Website use and availability

You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not disrupt or damage the website, interfere with other users, or attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

We may update, suspend or discontinue website features, products or content. We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will be error-free. This does not affect obligations relating to an order we have accepted or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Printably’s intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website’s text, branding, graphics, photographs, layouts and other materials belong to Printably or are used with permission. You may not copy, adapt, distribute or commercially use them without prior written permission, except where the law allows.

This section does not give Printably ownership of images you submit. The permissions for submitted content are set out in section 3.

9. Privacy

We handle personal information, including order details and customer-supplied images, as described in our Privacy Policy. We use appropriate information to process and fulfil orders, provide support, administer the website and meet legal obligations.

Please review the Privacy Policy for details about how information is collected, used, stored and protected.

10. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Printably is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, your failure to check order details, or your unauthorised use of an image. This does not limit any responsibility Printably has for its own breach of these terms, negligence, unlawful conduct or statutory obligations.

Where a limitation or exclusion of liability is permitted, it applies only to the extent that it is fair, reasonable and lawful in the circumstances.

11. Complaints and contact

For order questions, complaints or notices under these terms, contact:

Email: info@printably.co.za
WhatsApp: 084 329 5474

Please include your order number and a clear description of the issue so we can assist.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the website applies to future use and orders. A change will not retrospectively remove rights or change the terms of an order we have already accepted, unless you agree or the law requires otherwise.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of a South African court with authority to hear it, without limiting any consumer rights or dispute-resolution options available under applicable law.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
